    Introducing our Accountant of the Month Contest

    Hello, accounting and CPA professionals! We all know everyone expects you to be hard-working, diligent and devoted to the success of your clients. And now, all of you have the chance to show how vibrant and interesting you are, too, in Accounting Today’s first ever Accountant of the Month contest.
    Each month, we’ll let your stories prove that accountants are many things, but “boring” isn’t one of them. Show us your creative side, your heroic side, your wild side or your philanthropist side – whatever makes you unique.

  • How it works

    Entering the contest is easy. Here’s what you need:

    • A photo of yourself that lets your personality shine through
    • A brief description of what makes you so remarkable
    • A Facebook account so you can enter the contest on the Accounting Today Facebook page. (Make sure to “like” us while you’re there, too!)

    We’ll ask our Accounting Today community to view the entries and vote for their favorites each month on our Facebook page. After that, our editors will choose the month’s winner from the top five candidates.

  • Why should you enter the contest?

    Our monthly winners will be showered with prizes, goodies and glory.

    Each month our Accountant of the Month winner will be featured:
    • In the print and digital editions of our magazine
    • On the AccountingToday.com Web site
    • On our Facebook page, Twitter feed and LinkedIn group

    Each winner will receive:
    • Free registration to the 3rd Annual Accounting Today Growth and Profitability Summit ($695 value).
    • A framed Accounting Today caricature of himself/herself (in the same style as our editors’ caricatures).
    • Accounting Today swag (t-shirts, flash drives, etc.)
    • Bragging rights!

    Think you’ve got what it takes? Enter the contest on our Facebook page. You can submit one entry each month. Everyone is invited to take a look at who’s entered so far and vote for their favorite entries.
