Final Call for Speakers: 2014 LITPS Accounting Technology Forum

Accounting Today is issuing a Final Call for speakers for its second annual Accounting Technology Forum.

Do you have a session concept you feel would add value to the 2014 LITPS Accounting Technology Forum? The event will be held June 24-25, 2014, at the Crest Hollow Country Club, in Woodbury, NY.

The two-day event will feature three session tracks, and will showcase proven strategies and practices to help firms grow their client base and strengthen critical areas of their practice, particularly tax and technology.

We are seeking new topics for consideration for next year’s conference program. The topics proposed should appeal to the practitioners in the following categories:

  • New Tools and Technologies for Accountants and Tax Professionals
  • Tax & Technology
  • How Practitioners Can Adopt and Adapt to the Latest Technologies
  • Software Programs and/or Efficiencies

We are looking for practical, insightful presentations; not sales-oriented presentations. Proposals should offer tangible value to the audience. If you are a vendor, to be considered you must include a client co-presenter.
Please fill out our speaker proposal form in its entirety (only completed forms will be considered). It is our policy to review all completed applications and file them for consideration on appropriate programs.

The submission deadline is January 17, 2014.

For additional information or if you have questions about the proposal process, please contact Nadine Cunningham.

Please be sure that each proposal is clearly related to the LITPS Accounting Technology Forum.

Note: Sending in a session proposal does not guarantee a speaking slot. You must be contacted and confirmed as a speaker by the conference organizers. Previous speaking experience helpful, but not necessary. Candidates are judged strictly on the merits of their submissions.
