Hogan Joins Intuit Accountant Advisory Team

Former XCM Solutions west coast operations director Kim Hogan has joined Intuit as part of its growing team to help accountants transition QuickBooks clients to the cloud and QuickBooks Online in particular.

Hogan had joined XCM in 2012 from Fujitsu where she served as business development manager, with a focus on accountant adoption of its ScanSnap product line.

“I’m very excited to be working with this ‘dream team' they are building, which will work with accounting firms, particularly the Top 200, who have QuickBooks desktop clients and help them transition them to the cloud,” said Hogan. “The key to doing this is really focusing on the accounting firms to help them through that transition. This is, for me, really an evangelist and partnership role with firms to help them guide their clients through this transition. The team will be firm centric; less about sales and more about creating a business partnership.”

The strategic account unit at Intuit, known as the Accountant & Advisory Group, is currently headed by Jill Ward and boasts former CCH sales and marketing vice president Ray Barlow and recently joined by another former CCH colleague, business developer and strategic relationship director David Bergstein. The growing team also hosts former director of national accounts at Thomson and CCH Jim Clement.

"Intuit is committed to helping accounting professionals save time and grow their practice...we’ve put together a team of strategic professionals with more than 75 years of combined experience calling on CPA firms," said Barlow. "As more and more firms begin to explore the benefits of cloud accounting solutions, having experienced and dedicated professionals partnering with them through this transition is essential. This level of commitment to the accountant is unmatched in the industry and will only continue to grow.”
