Commerce, billing and compensation product maker MetraTech Corp. has partnered with platform-as-a-service accounting product provider VerticaLive to enable customer enrollment, billing and payment management for ISVs and application developers using the VerticaLive Business Framework and for VerticaLive's new SMB-focused cloud accounting product. 

VerticaLive offers cloud-based, enterprise accounting and a software development environment built entirely on Microsoft's .NET framework.

MetraTech’s Metanga product will provide the commerce and billing functionality VerticaLive requires to support its newest offerings, while also providing future flexibility around pricing, packaging and promotions.

“It was important to us that Metanga had done significant work in enabling cloud monetization for the Microsoft community. Compared to the competition, Metanga provided a better solution that is easier to use and that gets us to market quickly,” said VerticaLive chief executive Matthew DeVoll. “Metanga's ability to package and price the solution so that it works well for our reseller community as well as for our framework customers will enhance our success.”
