SAP has made available a new version of the Business One ERP product for its HANA data aggregator, designed to integrate the capabilities of an in-memory platform with the company’s existing SAP Business One application.
The announcement was made at CeBIT 2013, being held this week in Hanover, Germany. SAP Business One for SAP HANA is targeted at small enterprises and offers real-time business insights from the same system that runs the transactional processing.
On a related note, SAP announced in January it was making its HANA data aggregator available in the SAP Business Suite of products, allowing users of its line of ERP products to capture and analyze transactional data in real time on a single, in-memory platform.
In addition, SAP Business One partners can create add-on solutions in their dedicated industry or geographic markets through the integration of SAP HANA with SAP Business One. The offering is planned for sale worldwide by value-added resellers in the SAP PartnerEdge program.
SAP and Portugal Telecom recently announced their plans to make available a developer edition of SAP Business One, version for SAP HANA. It is planned to provide developers with a fully configured environment for SAP Business One, version for SAP HANA, to help accelerate development of extensions and add-ons built on the SAP HANA Cloud platform available on SmartCloudPT.
