Cloud-based enterprise resource planning solution provider Acumatica announced the appointment of Richard Duffy as vice president of partner strategy and enablement, effective immediately.

Richard Duffy

A former SAP mentor and ERP technology evangelist who previously worked at SAP, Microsoft and Dynamics GP, Duffy will lead partner strategy and on-boarding for Acumatica.

“I’m excited to start this new journey with Acumatica,” stated Duffy, who moved to the Kirkland area from Australia last month. “I’m a huge proponent of Cloud ERP and this opportunity to join the fastest-growing company in this space was too good to pass. I can’t wait to work with partners to help them get ramped up on our vision, our brand, and our products that will take them into the future!”

“Richard brings years of ERP experience to our already strong leadership team,” stated CEO Jon Roskill, who was named to his role early last month. “With his appointment, and the partners who are sure to follow, together we are well positioned to disrupt this $60-billion market.”

“The draw of Acumatica is its solid technology and product roadmap that makes sense for an increasingly mobile and SaaS world,” added Duffy. “Acumatica’s 100-percent partner focus is unheard of in this industry and I believe, the best way to grow vertically and horizontally in this space.”

Duffy began his career with his own ERP business for 13 years before moving to Great Plains Software and Microsoft for 6 years, then SAP, where he held various roles over the past 11 years, including SAP mentor. He is also active as a blogger and in social media.

“I’ve been in this space for more than 20 years and Acumatica is where the future is,” Duffy stated. “I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and jump in. I am keen to help our partners get certified, start selling, and grow together!”
