App of the Week

This week: Scanner Pro by Readdle

Scanner Pro 4.4

Welcome to our newest feature, App of the Week, where we highlight some of the top mobile business  apps used by accounting professionals and technology consultants alike; this week it is Scanner Pro by Readdle.

Scanner Pro, which as of press time was on Version 4.4, essentially allows users to turn their mobile device -- mainly iPhones and iPads for now -- into a scanner. The main uses, we've found, are for scanning receipts, whiteboards, paper notes, or any multi-page document.

Scanned documents can be emailed and printed, uploaded to Dropbox, Google Drive and Evernote, or saved on the iPhone/iPad.

The application also has the abilitty to make images sharper and more readable so you can convert paper notes and sketches into digital copies or sign document with a pen and scan it for

Scanner Pro scans any type of document and all scans are saved as a PDF. Users can also scan then send a document to a nearby printer. For more information or a download for $6.99 visit the App Store or the Readdle site.
