Even in the increasingly mobile world, accountants are still keeping time and as such Timesheet is seeing more downloads by practitioners on Android devices.
Designed with the consultant in mind, the app keeps track of daily working hours per project and calculates salary and time based on hours and hourly rate. There are also basic expense and mileage features with value added tax and final billing.
There is a free and a paid version (Timesheet 2) which is available for $2.50. As with many free apps, the non-paid version has unlimited functionality with activated ads. Users can report on any period and view by day, week, month, or customized view; input comments; export to Excel, track tasks and overtime; and allows users to select from three different UI themes. The unlocked version includes Dropbox integration and no ads.
Timesheet is currently on version 1.7.7 and requires Android 2.1 or higher, with downloads available in Google Play.
