LEA Global, as the second largest association of independent accounting firms globally, is comprised of more than 200 accounting firms serving clients from 586 offices in more than 100 countries.

The alliance will give Leading Edge member firms access to Avalara’s online Accountants Resource Center, which offers up-to-date sales and use tax and value added tax information, along with other resources to serve clients. Member firms can also utilize Avalara’s partner programs designed to help firms expand and differentiate their services.

“Correctly and efficiently automating sales and use tax is an attractive proposition for any firm,” stated LEA president Karen Kehl-Rose. “Our new alliance with Avalara should be a tremendous benefit to our member firms and their clients. We are happy to provide our member firms with access to Avalara’s experience and partnering programs, which is just one more way that LEA can contribute to our member firms’ growth.”

“LEA Global is a major player in the international accounting association community, and we are very pleased to begin this exciting new partnership with them and their member firms,” stated Ray Bigley, vice president of business development for Avalara’s accountants program. “Our new alliance gives LEA firms instant access to up-to-date sales and use tax tools and educational resources, enabling them to better assist their clients, and enhance their status as trusted advisors.”
