Deltek Inc. has officially appointed chief financial officer and acting chief executive Mike Corkery to the CEO role, less than two months after he assumed the post upon the departure of Kevin Parker.

Corkery has been with Deltek since January 2010 when he joined as CFO. The company plans to announce a new CFO shortly.

Last month Deltek released its new Deltek Maconomy Public Accounting product, an ERP system built specifically for CPA firms to help them streamline procecess from administration to entire practice management tasks.
