Intacct Unveils Snapshots, Digital Board Book, Partnerships at Advantage 2015

Cloud ERP provider Intacct announced new features, partnerships and resources during its annual Intacct Advantage conference Nov. 9-13.

The company launched dashboard snapshots, new functionality enabling users to save snapshots of real-time financial and operational results from any Intacct dashboard, annotate them, and communicate them through Intacct Collaborate, the company’s Salesforce Chatter-embedded social layer within Intacct.

With the new capability, finance professionals can more seamlessly flag, communicate and resolve issues by saving real-time data snapshots and using the graphical editor to highlight specific numbers and trends. Users can also retain a history of questions and answers in Intacct Collaborate groups to be shared in the future.

The dashboard snapshots will be generally available in the Fall 2015 release of Intacct, scheduled for Nov. 19.

"Finance teams waste untold numbers of hours each month on email, tracking down information around issues—time that could be better spent on more value-added tasks," stated Dan Miller, vice president of product management at Intacct. "Intacct is constantly looking for new ways to help our customers streamline processes. Unlike any other ERP system, Intacct is now empowering users to capture real-time snapshots of financial and operational results from any dashboard, annotate the snapshot, and share it via the Intacct Collaborate social feed for faster flagging, communication, and resolution of issues."

Intacct also launched the Intacct Digital Board Book for Fundraising, the company’s second following the release of a digital board book for SaaS metrics earlier this year.

The new digital board book automates the calculation of operational fundraising insights for nonprofit organizations using real-time transactional data from systems of record including Salesforce and Intacct.

The Digital Board Book for Fundraising is a real-time strategy tool eliminating the need for nonprofits to track metrics manually and months later. These metrics include cost per dollar donated, fundraising expense ratio, fundraising efficiency, and donor metrics like the number of total, major and active donors. The metrics are displayed as snapshots and trends via a dashboard of performance cards, reports, charts and graphs. The insights are then delivered within the financial system of record.

Also at Intacct Advantage, the company announced a new relationship with Pacific Crest Securities, technology specialists of KeyBank Capital Markets, a technology investment banking firm with expertise in SaaS, to integrate benchmarking data from Pacific Crest’s annual Private SaaS Company Survey into the Intacct Digital Board Book for SaaS Metrics.

The integration will enable mid-sized SaaS companies to see real-time comparisons of their performance relative to peers and assess how to improve.

Additionally, Intacct unveiled a new partnership with ADP to integrate into Workforce Now.
