Intuit to Host Inaugural QuickBooks Connect Conference

Intuit announced it will host its first QuickBooks Connect conference Oct. 21-23 in San Jose, Calif., for entrepreneurs, small business owners, accountants and developers, and many members of its ecosystem of more than five million business customers.

Expected to draw participants ranging from first-time entrepreneurs to established small businesses and accountants, customers, non-customers and software developers, the breakout sessions will be tailored to multiple interests.

The main stage will include Intuit president and CEO Brad Smith, founder Scott Cook, entrepreneur and reality TV star Bill Rancic, Debbie Sterling of GoldieBlox and Tristan Walker of Walker & Co. and Code2040, among others.

“We’ve been helping small businesses for more than 20 years and know how powerful our ecosystem can be when you connect all the pieces and players,” stated Dan Wernikoff, senior vice president and general manager of Intuit’s small business group. “QuickBooks Connect brings together these parts for the first time, giving attendees the chance to meet the people, see the cloud technology and get the advice they need to thrive.”

The conference tracks include breakout sessions for entrepreneurs, small businesses, accountants and developers.

Attendees can registering now at www.QuickBooksConnect.com to take advantage of early bird pricing of $169. After July 31, the cost will be $199.
