Cloud financial and ERP suite provider NetSuite has again signed on several top Microsoft Dynamics and Sage partners to its reseller channel, the largest of which is Sikich.

Jeff Rudolph

Over the past month Sikich officially joined the NetSuite partner program, along with Portland, Ore.-based Sage VAR ISM, WAC Consulting Group, and SD Mayer & Associates. Of the group Sikich is by far the largest, ranking 12th overall in Accounting Today's 2012 VAR 100 report and the third largest national reseller to join NetSuite's partner network. Only McGladrey and Blytheco are larger, in terms of overall revenue.

For their part Sikich joined primarily to add to its overall accounting and ERP offerings, which include products from Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, Epicor, and SAP. More specifically, it wanted a "mature cloud ERP product to serve midmarket clients," according to Jeff Rudolph, partner in charge of Sikich's technology practice.

"They have a comparatively large client base, plus their partner program is much more mature than it was and a really good on boarding process," said Rudolph. "More importantly, we are growing as a firm, we have six thousand-plus business partners and we need a variety of products to support them. We spent a lot of time studying NetSuite over the past couple of years and it was a good fit. One of our approaches to go to market is to be product agnostic, we want to be able to serve customer needs at every level and now we have a good pure cloud play. We also liked that we can do a lot of development with NetSuite, that was a plus."
