QB, Xero, NetSuite Lead G2 Crowd's Product Rankings

QuickBooks, Xero and NetSuite were named leaders in business software review site G2 Crowd’s recently released Fall 2014 Grid report ranking nine accounting products.

The Grid, G2’s software recommendation engine based on more than 300 reviews and ratings from business professionals, factors in user customer satisfaction and vendor market presence based on social and public data.

QuickBooks, Xero and NetSuite ERP were named Leaders, signifying a high customer satisfaction score and substantial market presence. Freshbooks and Intacct obtained the High Performer label, bestowed to products with a high satisfaction score but a smaller market presence than Leaders. Freshbooks earned the highest overall customer satisfaction score.

For all accounting tools, reviewers reported at an average rate of 79 percent that the product used met their requirements and also said, on average, they were 74 percent likely to recommend that product.

Nearly 70 software vendors are listed in G2 Crowd’s accounting software category—the nine ranked products each received 10 or more ratings and reviews to qualify for inclusion on the Grid. Product categorization on the Grid is based on a combination of the satisfaction ranking, generated from user reviews, and market presence, which is derived from vendor size, market share and social impact.

The four potential categories are Leader, High Performer, Contender or Niche.

The real-time Grid is available in widget form below or on the accounting category page of the G2 website.
