Xero has opened a new app marketplace to provide a one-stop-shop for its cloud accounting apps.
There are over 500 apps currently available in the marketplace. Users can search by industry or app function to find tools that fit their size or type of business.
Xero noted that reporting tools are the most popular app category in its ecosystem, including apps such as Crunchboards, Spotlight Reporting and Fathom.The second most popular category is expense management apps, such as Receipt Bank.
“Our ecosystem has exploded to over 500 integrations today,” said Brooke Anderson, Xero’s global ecosystem manager, in a statement. “We’ve invested heavily in maintaining an open platform, giving our customers access to tools to run their entire business operations that connect and share data with Xero. Our new marketplace makes it as easy as possible for our small business customers and their advisers to find exactly the right app for their unique business needs.”
