Serenic Software, which was recently acquired by Vision HRM, a software company based in Edmonton, Alberta, lost $9,811 on revenue of $2.9 million for its year ended June 30.The numbers for Serenic, which was privately held, were released by Vision HRM, which is publicly traded. Results for the prior year were not released. However, during fiscal 2004, Serenic was improving operations with $1 million of its sales and a loss of only $547 coming in the June quarter. Serenic's founder, Jay Malik, has become CEO of Vision HRM, which sells the VisionPay payroll software line for Navision software. Serenic Navigator, a not-for-profit accounting, also works with Navision.
