Morningstar has acquired the ePiper separate account database from Pensions & Investments, with the data expected to be added to Morningstar's database and products this month.

Terms were not disclosed. Pensions & Investments will continue to publish its quarterly Piper performance results in both Web and print versions, while Morningstar will serve the ePiper user base of about 600 plan sponsors, consultants, financial planners, and investment managers.
