Best Software saw its operating profit hit $112.1 million for the year ended September 30, up 13 percent from 2003 as its revenue topped $500 million for the first time.Income for the Best, the North American arm of the Sage Group, hit $516.6 million, a 30 percent increased from fiscal 2003. Much of the increase came from the acquisition of Accpac International and Timberline Software. Worldwide, Sage had revenue of $1.238 billion, its first time over the billion-dollar mark.
