Wolters Kluwer, parent to CCH Tax and Accounting, saw earnings for its Tax, Accounting, and Legal Division drop by 15 percent for the third quarter as revenue rose by 4 percent.TAL, which encompasses North American operations, had earnings before interest, taxes, and amortization of $34 million, down from $49 million a year earlier. WK attributed the decline to increased investment in products and a restatement of one-time savings. TAL revenue rose to $176 million from $171 million.
