TAXWISE FIXED ASSETS TaxWise has integrated asset manager and trial balance software into its accounting and tax software line.

TaxWise Fixed Asset Manager enables accountants to track large numbers of fixed assets and calculate federal and state tax and book depreciation.

Accountants who use TaxWise Trial Balance software can import general ledger trail balances from accounting programs. Users can adjust and group balances before exporting to the appropriate line in the TaxWise tax preparation program.

Cyma Version 7 includes inventory controls and sales orders modules.

Cyma Inventory Control features multi-warehouse support, three costing methods, and postings of journal entries. It is integrated with Cyma Sales Order, General Ledger, Purchasing, and Job Cost, and provides receiving, warehouse transfers, and job-issue capabilities. The Sales Order system has advanced pricing and discount capabilities, providing automatic pricing alerts if products are sold below designated profit margin levels. A new workflow layout in CaseWare Time 2004 guides users through their tasks. This includes the ability to convert Time and CaseWare documents to PDFs without needing third-party software.

Time and expense analysis can be ordered by client, and miscellaneous invoices can be set up as recurring invoices. Project management helps set up and manage a firm's projects. It creates projects and subprojects for the firm with default information, and then assigns clients to the projects or subprojects.

The new user interface in Microsoft Navision 4.0, modeled after Microsoft Office, connects users to resources outside of Navision 4.0, such as files needed to conduct business.

Key Performance Indicators and analysis tools have been enhanced with business graphics. The software introduces Business Notification, which will help businesses stay more connected with customers, employees and suppliers, and also includes an XML port, which will facilitate communication with other solutions, customers, vendors, and business partners.

In its latest version, SAP Business One has added capabilities including material requirements planning and embedded CRM features.

The software's MRP wizard manages material planning and defines planning scenarios based on a range of criteria in five easy steps, from demand manufacturing to customer service.

CRM features include an integrated calendar to schedule sales and service for tasks and meetings. Businesses can also track, compare, and analyze win/loss activity to provide sales opportunities and business trends, with additional reporting including lead allocation and opportunity analysis.

Accpac Advantage 5.3 Transaction Analysis lets businesses assign, report on, and analyze specific, predetermined information attached to transactions.

The Transactional Analysis with Optional Field Creator enables a business to specify how transaction data flows through the accounting system, creating an analytic tool that has the ability to define how data moves between modules, and supports the codification. The new Inventory Control module includes the ability to set up kits to eliminate the need to enter multiple entries.

Customers that use Open Systems OSAS or Traverse Payroll applications have the option to purchase a subscription to Enhanced Payroll Tax Reporting.

The service provides more than 300 state and federal reports, and each report is automatically compiled from OSAS or Traverse payroll data and can either be filed electronically or printed.

The software eliminates the task of manually typing forms such as unemployment, wage withholding and new hire reports.

CCHHand gives users one-click access to research answers in CCH's Tax Research Network while operating from within Microsoft Office 2003 programs.

Users can launch a search directly from within a document, viewing results in the Research Task Pane in Office applications. They can copy and paste results directly into their Word, Excel, or Outlook and email the results straight to clients or save the results. CCH Smart Tags recognize citations in Word documents and allow users to view the full text of cited documents and retrieve them into a new Word document, and to retrieve related explanations.

CPAPractice Manager Custom Library provides firms with a collection of CPASoftware's most popular customized reports.

Reports are accessible from the Features menu in all of the software's modules; the library screen even includes the ability to add any type of application or document to the product.

The calendar creator allows users to plan as far into the future as desired by simply entering a month and a year, and digital stickers have symbols representing appointments, holidays, and special events, which may be locked in to calendars.

Simply Accounting 2005's Premium version offers features such as consolidated financial reporting for multi-company businesses, industry-specific reports, and charts of accounts with up to eight digits and the ability to define account ranges.

Master Builder Version 10 combines automated information flow and information-sharing capabilities, including the ability to export data to other standard business applications. It also offers enhanced reporting features.

Reports and schedules can be mailed or faxed to employees as planning and budget changes occur. A new export feature lets contractors send data from Master Builder to Microsoft Excel to reveal excessive costs, revenue opportunities, or both. The software contains GAAP-based financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and statements of cash flow.

Exact Business Analytics can conduct online and offline analysis and consolidate reporting on a wide range of business processes, including inventory, sales, manufacturing, distribution, and finance.

The software, which integrates with Exact Macola Progression and Macola ES, features executive dashboard capabilities that provide business users with drill-to-detail access to data. With user-defined Information Views, which combine data from single or multiple sources, users can view this information without relying on a data warehouse or repository.
