PowerAdvisor Cornerstone Revolutions' PowerAdvisor, built on PowerBroker's audit/compliance reporting tools, provides one-step downloading to eliminate the need to download data files daily.

The software's process for creating blended indexes within the application reduces the time associated with account maintenance duties. Act Handheld Contact

Act 2005 users can access and manage their databases remotely synchronizing them when using the Blackberry 7520 handheld wireless device through Act Handheld Contact.

One-click, drop-down menus simplify data entry, editing, and tasks associated with sales management. The system enables users to wirelessly synchronize contact and customer data from a desktop version of Act with the Blackberry. Sage offers two versions of Act-Act 2005 for up to 10 users and Act 2005 Premium for Workgroups for up to 50 users.

Total Planning System

The 14 screens in the Quick Entry Wizard, now included in Money Tree's Total Planning System, can be followed in sequence or selected randomly as users input the required data to create a client's financial plan.

Also available in desk-top form, the product's Web version permits clients to enter data from a remote site. To help expedite preparation of the financial plan, Wizard entries automatically populate the Total Planning System.

Built on Syspro's ERP system, Syspro Analytics uses the Microsoft Excel pivot table and graphs as its analysis interface by taking advantage of Microsoft Office Web Components.

Syspro Analytics offers a start-up process in which users can select among the pre-defined templates of metrics and key performance indicators to provide information on key aspects of the organizations operations.

FAS Construction in Progress

FAS Construction in Progress Accounting version 2.0 lets users track and control capital asset accounting processes by monitoring actual spending versus budget.

The enhanced detailed reporting for tracking projects makes the product easier to use and fixed assets can be automatically moved to Sage Software's FAS Asset Accounting solution upon completion. The Project Snapshot shows the status of projects, while providing a variety of charts and graphs to display their status.

AvaTax On-Demand

AvaTax On-Demand calculates sales and use taxes for any of the 8,000 U.S. taxing jurisdictions and enters the results into a user's accounting system.

The application comes with a Web software development kit whose adaptor integrates AvaTax with e-commerce, third-party, or custom-built ERP systems. AvaTax On-Demand integrates out of the box with Sage's MAS 90/200, the Accpac Advantage Series, and Great Plains. The adaptor in the SDK lets developers working in .Net or .Com-compliant languages eliminate the need to build, read, or transform data into SOAP messaging.

AuctionTracker Integration

Blackbaud, partnering with Northwest Software Technologies, offers integrated fundraising and auction management solutions using Auction Tracker and The Raiser's Edge.

The integrated systems can manage the details of an online or event auction, including item procurement and on-the-ground support. The software also allows auction staff and volunteers to quickly identify donors who are attending events, combine auction related information with data from a donor's constituency, and eliminate duplicate data entry.

CCH Biz Tax Tool

The CCH State Business Income Tax Research and Compliance Manager contains publications such as the Multistate Corporate Income Tax Guide, which provides CCH explanations with state-by-state details on every topic.

Also featured are State Business Income Smart Charts that blend access to answers with the ability to create multi-jurisdictional, customizable charts that can be exported to Word and Excel. A subscription also gives users the Annual Revenue Departments Surveys (Business Income Tax) by J.C. Healy and M.S. Schadewald.

NetSuite CRM+

NetSuite CRM+ gives users a complete view of its customers' management processes, integrating order management, partner management, incentive management, and project tracking.

The system also offers eCRM, which includes a hosted Web site, Web-site analytics, customer portals, partner portals, and partner management.

The Order Management system of CRM+ captures data to help determine CRM metrics such as marketing ROI, sales effectiveness, forecast accuracy, sales incentives, and demand forecasting.

Client Ledger System 5.5

Client Ledger System 5.5 incorporates a new quarterly payroll journal, along with the ability to print W-4, W-5, W-9, and I-9 forms.

The write-up package can also trap missing FEI/Social Security numbers, or those with less than nine digits, and print replacement 940 forms for the past five years. Non-payroll improvements include renumbering or merging of departments, batch printing of reports to a single output file, and importing transactions using translation tables to convert from a client's chart of accounts and/or employee or vendor numbers to the firm's system.

Cougar Mountain Software's Point of Sale offers seven comprehensive retail sales tracking reports that are suited for managers, clerks, and accountants.

CCH 10-K Wizard

Professionals who use Accounting Research Manager can access SEC Edgar filings via CCH's 10-K Lookup, which features comprehensive data sets, full text searches, searchable sections of Form 10-K, print formats, and real-time SEC Edgar filing postings.

Accountants involved with SEC accounting rules and compliance can use the ARM tool to research actual filings and find information such as details on financial statements, management discussion and analysis, and legal and financial agreements. The Web-enabled service is available through an agreement with 10-K Wizard Technology, a Dallas-based provider of real-time Internet-based alerts.

EstateWorks 2005

The estate planning and estate settlement modules in EstateWorks 2005 can control the entire planning and administration of an estate from client interview to final settlement.

Client data, entered once into the customizable Web-based system, can then be used to automate client letters, merge into other documents including probate forms and provide reminders for Crummey notices, and manage all documents. EstateWorks 2005 interfaces with many industry-standard and probate forms, including Thomson Fast-Tax, Intuit's Lacerte, and CCH's ProSystem fx.

Microsoft POS

Microsoft Point of Sale automates retail management processes to help independent store owners better compete with big chains. The application gives small independent storeowners the ability to improve tracking of their sales, inventory, and customer information.
