BasisPro Cost Basis Analyzer The BasisPro Cost Basis Analyzer calculates the correct cost basis of a security by accessing a built-in database that contains historical information on thousands of different securities.

If a cost basis isn't in the BasisPro database, GainsKeeper's staff will provide the requested information for that security within 48 hours. For complex corporate actions, BasisPro utilizes tax analysis from CCH Capital Changes. BasisPro can be accessed either through its Web site or the Web portal of a retail broker.

GoBiz XL Modules

GoBiz XL, a Web-based application, has been expanded with the addition of Inventory and Sales modules.

The Sales module's features include lead tracking and analysis, sales analysis, sales assignments, estimating and quoting, sales activity, and history. The new modules interface with the Service module, designed for mobile service workforces, which specifies the most appropriate service person according to skill, geography, availability, and customer preference.

Vanguard's Dashboard Plus

DashBoard Plus uses graphical presentations to illustrate a company's performance measures and business trends for use with the Vanguard Graphical Performance Series.

DashBoard Plus dynamically accesses data in enterprise applications and provides an interactive business dashboard interface. It also sends out email alerts to notify the appropriate persons when business conditions change or exceed pre-defined thresholds. Sage CRM 5.8

Users of Sage CRM 5.8 can create custom dashboards that include information such as favorite reports, charts with drill-down capabilities, saved data searches, customer snapshots, lists of hot leads, and high-priority customer support issues.

The enhanced data management capabilities include data imports and conversions, report organization, and list management. An added contact feature provides additional support for businesses that market to consumers.

Big E-Z Bookkeeping Version 3.0

Big E-Z has added universal category updates to Version 3.0 of its Big E-Z Bookkeeping package so that the system automatically updates corresponding worksheets for all expense category changes.

There are also enhancements to the Deposit Worksheet so that the program automatically totals deposits and transfers the amounts to update bank balances. Also, outstanding check totals now automatically appear on the bank reconciliation work sheet.

Customer Insights for Sage PFW

The Customer Insights module for Sage PFW ERP creates a Customer Activity Dashboard that can display credit status, pricing, quotes, orders, sales history, buying patterns, and behaviors.

The module can also track personalized customer information, including items such as notes from conversations, birthdays, and personal preferences. Security levels can be set so that only appropriate users can access, manage, and analyze relevant data, and can be set on an individual or group basis.

NetSuite Software Company Edition

The NetSuite Software Company Edition manages a company' customers' lifecycle from the time a lead is entered into the system to the purchase and through renewals to repeat sales.

The single application eliminates the need for separate applications for operations ranging from sales and marketing to support. This Edition also includes additional versions of NetSuite's AJAX Dashboards that offer users real-time visibility of key performance indicators.

Microsoft BIO

The Sarbanes-Oxley Application from QuickBase can be used for a variety of compliance tasks, including compliance project planning and forecasting and risk assessment control matrix testing.

The Travel and Entertainment Expense Control Manual includes a travel-and-expense policy manual, code-of-conduct policy, agreements, logs, report forms, and IRS publications.

Quicken Medical Expense Manager 2.0 determines whether users should pay a bill, wait for an insurance payment to be made, or start asking questions.

CNG-Books 3.0

CNG-Books 3.0 can open file formats, including PDF, Word, Excel, text documents, and scanned or faxed images directly from within CNG-Books.

Documents such as vendor bills, customer payments, and credit-card statements can be viewed in the original file format. They can also send and share documents with other Cabinet NG users. CNG-Books can display document image, enabling users to enter data into QuickBooks and to file the image simultaneously.

Total Planning System

The 2006 version of the Total Planning System lets planners include Roth 401(k) options and details in their analyses and financial plans, with the ability to incorporate the Roth plans' mix of pre-tax and after-tax contributions in creating reports and illustrations.

In the Easy Money and Golden Years modules, Roth contributions are integrated into the Roth IRA account report, while company contributions are included with other tax-deferred deposits. The Qualified Plans module can compare traditional 401(k)s to the Roth plans.
