SKODA, MINOTTI EXPANDS IT OFFERINGS Skoda, Minotti & Co., a Cleveland-based CPA firm, has added telecommunication and networking services to the offerings of its Information Technology Consulting Group.

The new services include Voice over Internet Protocol, infrastructure cabling, telecommunication services, and Citrix Software. The expansion is being made possible by the addition of Doug Beller, Doug Lundbland, and Greg Bowers, who joined the firm in March.
PARENTE RANDOLPH NAMES CIO
Parente Randolph, a Philadelphia-based CPA firm, has named Jason S. Hall as the firm's chief information officer.
Hall will split his time between the Philadelphia and Wilkes-Barre offices. His duties will include modernizing internal technology and increasing services for the staff.
BCS MERGES WITH PROSOFT
Sage Software resellers Business Computer Systems and ProSoft are merging their operations to form a company that will operate throughout the Southwest.
The headquarters will be at the BCS office in San Antonio. BCS president Clark Haley will serve as president and CEO. Among the ProSoft principals, Dean Northey is becoming CFO, while Russ Graf will be vice president for business development, and Brian Clark, vice president of sales. The company is expected to have revenue of $7.4 million.
TECTURA ENTERS SWEDEN
Tectura, the Redwood City, Calif.-based reselling company, has moved into Sweden, its twentieth country, with the formation of a new unit.
The company is staffing the Stockholm-based unit with 10 Microsoft consultants and developers and expects to grow to a staff of 50 to 60 in a few years. Staffan Nilsson will lead sales and Ulla Pallas will direct the consulting team.
THATCHER HIRES SALES DIRECTOR
The Thatcher Technology Group, a Sage Software reseller based in Addison, Ill., has named Karen Isley as its director of sales consulting.
Thatcher sells a variety of Sage products, including MAS 90/200 and MAS 500, and SalesLogix. In January, the company hired Greg Fink as vice president of sales. His duties will include directing sales of Prowess, Thatcher's compensation management system.
MARTIN ACQUIRES VERO
Vero Technologies, a Microsoft reseller, has been acquired by Martin & Associates, both Microsoft and Sage Software resellers. The two companies are based in Cincinnati.
The combination will bring Martin's staff to 20 people. Vero sells both Dynamics CRM and Dynamics GP. Martin & Associates, owned by Kevin Martin, carries Sage's mid-marketing accounting products.
KOGUN SNAGS SCS
Kogun hf, a publicly traded company based in Iceland, has purchased SCS Inc., a Microsoft reseller based in Santa Monica, Calif.
SCS had $7.5 million in revenue in 2004 and employs 40. It sells Dynamics NAV and AX. Kogun's revenue for 2005 was about $159.5 million for 2005, up 253 percent from some acquisitions.
EBIDTA was $18.2 million, while income after taxes was $8.2 million.
