Billing, reporting and printing improvements enhance version 6.02 of ImagineTime's practice management and time and billing software.
The billing dashboard includes an engagement drill-down option for the Work in Process Summary report. When a group of clients have pending bills, users can isolate and print WIP for a specific client. A "Group Realization/Allocation" method in the Superbill template of Master Billing Templates simplifies the process of adjusting the value of time for a grouping of slips by work code or staff. Most reports can be sorted by engagement, client or Group ID in either a detailed or summary form.

Red Wing Software's CenterPoint Payroll Version 3.0 ensures compatibility with Microsoft Windows Vista, improves system performance, enhances report writing and provides additional methods of paying employees.
The online update process lets customers view, choose and install updates by individual module and add-on, providing small download sizes and faster installation. Quick Filter lets customers add or change default filters without leaving the available reports screen. The Pay Employees function includes a Calculate Now option, which speeds up the pay-entry process.

Accountants can use the CCH coolbar to link Outlook emails, appointments and tasks to clients, business affiliates, leads and referrals in the ProSystem fx Practice Management database and their Practice Management timesheets.
Clicking on the Data Center button on the CCH Coolbar allows them to review information such as accounts receivable, WIP and cash receipts within the framework of Outlook.

An expanded mass editing tool in version 8.0 of Thomson Tax and Accounting's ePropertyTax assists with copying, pasting, importing and exporting data within all areas of the system.
Queries can be customized using any data field. Users can export contacts or event dates such as jurisdiction appeal deadlines directly from the system into Microsoft or IBM Lotus Notes email and calendar software. Links to Google maps show property values and locations.

Visionsoft Visual Audit X3 audit tool collects and collates information on all the computer software and hardware that a company has.
It includes a built-in Report Generator with a License Manager to help businesses ascertain which software needs removing, replacing or purchasing. Audit On Demand allows for auditing any PC seen on the network. A Silent Audit option does not ask users for any details. Results can be exported in CSV or html.

The summer edition of Salesforce .com's CRM application and platform introduces Apex Code, allowing them to write applications and scale them across Salesforce's Web-based platform using a Java-like development language.
Enterprise Intelligent Workflow lets customers create complex rules and approvals by adding formulas in workflow. Salesforce Mobile debuts a search-based user interface on the main screen with results delivered in lists grouped by category and provides access to reports. The Salesforce Customer Portal provides a branded self-service knowledgebase.
