MCGLADREY NAMES DIRECTOR RSM McGladrey has named Matt Schriner as a managing director in its technology risk management services group.

Schriner, who has more than 17 years in assessing and managing risks at financial institutions, was a managing director at Bloomington, Minn.-based RSM McGladrey from 1999 through 2003. He most recently worked as business director for SAS, dealing with fair lending and anti-money laundering services.
The WAC Consulting Group, a consortium of Sage Software resellers, has added three new members to the Northborough, Mass.-based organization.
The three members are Main Street Software of Landisville, Pa., Taurus Consulting of River Edge, N.J., and Source Consulting of Fredericksburg, Va. WAC president Robert Distler says organization keep their local identity but share services such marketing and sales.
SAGE CHAIRMAN'S CLUB NAMED
Sage Software has named 14 resellers to its Chairman's Club, the second year the designation has been given to top VARs for its accounting, HR and CRM applications.
Accounting VARs included Alliance Solutions Group of Bradenton, Fla., Axis Integrated Solutions of Doral Fla., Blytheco Business Solutions of Laguna Hills, Calif., JMT Consulting of Patterson, N.Y., the MIS Group of Dallas, and the Strategies Group of Suwanee, Ga. Atlanta-based Macdonald Consulting Group, which recently merged with Blytheco, was also selected. One Canadian reseller, Toronto-based CA Plus, also made the list.
INFINITY INFO BUYS MIDSTAR
Infinity Info Systems, a New York-based CRM reseller, has acquired MidstarCRM Solutions, which is based in Sandusky, Ohio.
Adding Midstar has enabled Infinity to expand its support services nationally, said Yacov Wrocherinsky, CEO of Infinity Info, which has several times been named as Sage's reseller of the year. Infinity had annual revenue of $12 million for 2005. .
COLUMBUS IT NET UP
Columbus IT Partner returned to profitability for the year ended Dec. 31, posting after-tax income of about $3.6 million, compared to a loss of about $1.1 million for 2005.
Revenue for the year was about $135.4 million, up from $116.3 million for 2005. Revenue for the rest of the world, which includes the United States, rose to $23.3 million, up 11 percent.
PMI HIRES FOOD VETERAN
Productivity Management Solutions, a South Bend, Ind.-based Sage Software reseller, has hired Paul Yadron as food service systems account executive.
Yadron, responsible for new business development for the PMI Food & C-Store Distribution System for Dynamics NAV, was most recently VP of sales and marketing for a national food distribution company.
CONNECTWISE MAKES AWARDS
ConnectWise, a Tampa, Fla.-based company whose product line includes professional services automation software, has recognized six resellers for best-in-class operational efficiency.
Those named were BPI Information Systems of Brecksville, Ohio, Connecting Point of Greeley, Colo., Heartland Technology Solutions of Harlan, Iowa, NST Systems of Stamford, Conn., Sentri of Westborough, Mass., and Technology Works of Cincinnati.
NET@WORK NABS SPITZ
New York-based Net@ Work, which markets accounting applications, has acquired Westchester, N.Y.-based Spitz Consulting Systems, an Act reseller and consultant.
Net@Work, whose $16 million in revenue last year included its Docutrend document management operations, is designed to serve small businesses in the New York metropolitan area, said co-president Edward Solomon.
ACCOUNTLOGIX JOINS BLYTHECO
AccountLogix of Spokane, Wash., has joined Blytheco.
CEO Steve Blythe said that AccountLogix principal Allan Snodgrass would remain with the company. Snodgrass was formerly an MAS consultant for Blytheco. With the MCG merger, Blytheco had pro forma revenue of $16.5 million for 2006.
