TRANSCEPTA DISTRIBUTOR EDITION Transcepta Distributor Edition sends invoices and processes electronic payments over the Web, and also enables companies to receive payments by ACH or credit card. Outbound invoices and incoming payments can be imported directly into an accounting system.

General ledger and budget data from Forecaster can be integrated into reports generated by Microsoft FRx with the ability to view new fields and choose from various formatting options. Total Types functionality reduces the number of calculations or trees users must maintain.

Nexus Systems and Workspeed have produced a combined work order and accounts payable automation package for the real estate industry.

Maintenance technicians can manage work orders in their Workspeed application and flow them into purchase orders in Workspeed Payables for routing and approval. The information is then transferred to the invoices when they are received and then into the property manager's general ledger software for payment.

Kintera has incorporated its FundWare fund accounting package in the company's Sphere customer relationship management platform.

Sphere FundWare enables nonprofits and government organizations to track the flow of funds from end to end, integrating with existing businesses applications such as ecommerce utility billing and grants and donor management and is available both as a software-as-a-service and client-installed offering.

NetSuite's B2B ecommerce platform consolidates invoicing, inventory and warehouse management, customer support and service and shopping carts in a single system.

Enhanced features include advanced inventory management, personalized Web sites for each customer and integrated shipping with UPS and FedEx. Customer analytics recommend upsell options similar to Amazon. A self-service Partner Center allows selling partners to manage leads, joint customers and orders and search for product and service information and training. Companies can track the commission and ROI for each partner from online sales.

The March '07 release of the Web-based AvaTax sales tax compliance services offers a new AvaTax Dashboard, deeper integration of the AvaTax for Microsoft Dynamics connector and several enhancements meant to reduce the time it takes to gather, consolidate and report tax data.

The upgrade provides line-by-line details into historical tax rate information, including details on tax jurisdiction and rate calculations at the time the report is generated. A Transaction Tab lets users reconcile their data against their ERP or accounting system. Administrative Reports provide a printable summary of the setup detail of the system. CCH's CertiTax plug-in for Microsoft Dynamics AX provides support of multiple addresses within a single invoice, line-level nexus determination, keyword address selection and filtering, support for the AX 4.0 Sales Quotation Form and currency mapping.

The hosted application provides real-time address validation and tax calculation based on CCH's database of rates and taxability rules. Integration with Dynamics AX allows users to simply map tax categories, automating the sales tax calculation process.

Version 6.0 of Sage Software's Fundraising 100 donor relationship management application for medium to large nonprofit organizations adds integration with Microsoft Outlook's Task and Calendar features and data encryption capabilities for storing donors' personal information in compliance with privacy regulations.

Enhanced Grants Management functionality includes General Ledger integration with MIP Fund Accounting and other third-party accounting systems. The new Directed Giving Campaign module records communications with donors and disburses funds to the appropriate programs. An ad-hoc Common Receivables table contains the combined records for each pledge, gift, event or membership.

PenSoft has launched a Web-based downloadable application to remotely submit payroll information to payroll processors, multi-location facilities or mobile businesses.

PenSoft Remote Client allows users to modify employee lists, enter time and leave information and receive reports on a secure page on PenSoft's Web site. The payroll processor maintains full control of the payroll but no longer has to collect data via faxes and emails.

Version 3.2 of the compensation application, Xactly Incent, adds Certification Letters that sales representatives are required to review and sign to ensure they have no side agreements.

A new module, Xactly Modeling, forecasts commission expenses and models compensation plan changes before implementing them. Finance teams can use actual or projected orders to determine future cash requirements and change the organization structure and view the effects on the top and bottom lines.
