It features an API that can be integrated with Ajax-based tools such as the Google Web Toolkit that let companies deploy and run models online. COUGAR MOUNTAIN E-COMMERCE Cougar Mountain has entered the e-commerce space with CMS Total eCom, a bundled package that integrates with the CMS Professional 2009 accounting, POS and Fund packages. Orders and inventory information are shared directly between the accounting program and Web store. The business's customers can track orders, search inventory and monitor their open invoices and account balance. UBCC WORKERS COMPENSATION Universal Business Computing Company has expanded its workers compensation codes to accommodate up to 9,999 standard industry codes per state and added the ability to import and export those codes via a CSV file. UBCC says this change particularly benefits companies that have clients that run temporary employment agencies, employee leasing companies or pay-as-you go scenarios and that the process takes less than a minute to complete. DESKTOP DATA ANALYSIS Lyzasoft, a spinoff of a business intelligence consulting practice, has launched Lyza, a desktop analytics application that lets analysts explore data and then publish presentations and dashboards without the help from the IT department. Lyza contains a visual drag-and-drop interface and familiar spreadsheet-like formulas. There are no limits on the number of inputs, data set size, record and column count or the complexity of transformations and calculations. CCH TAX PREP PARTNER CCH Tax Prep Partner offers a set of return-focused online compliance resources that provides practice-oriented explanations relating to lines on forms 1040, 1065, 1120 and 1120S. Answers include references to primary authority and links to interactive research aids, calculators, charts, checklists and toolkits. Methods for accessing content include CCH A-Line-D, through which users can type in a form number, line number and tax year and be taken to the relevant explanation.
