ALERE V. 5.2 Alere Accounting v5.2 can utilize customer numbers to enter sales orders or invoices, while enabling users to apply three traits to a single item number for items that have the same cost but differ in characteristics.

Also pending general ledger entries can be saved, rather than posted, useful with entries that are incomplete, complex, or are part of a whole series of entries. Other enhancements include lot inspection, which releases only lots that pass inspection, and lot expiration, which assigns expiration dates for material with a limited shelf life. Lot costing tracks actual costs as lots are received into inventory.
