CaseWare IDEA Version Eight was developed to improve the quality of data analysis work.
It includes a Project Overview feature that presents a graphical representation of the entire audit or investigation process, which can be shared with management or used to meet documentation requirements. Users can independently review the workflows and utilize drill-down capabilities for additional history. Importing documents is easier with a drag-and-drop import feature in Import Assistant, along with faster PDF import. Visual Scripts require no programming and allow customers to re-run standard analysis processes and build continuous monitoring applications.

KOFAX E-TRANSACTIONS
Kofax e-Transactions adds electronic invoice processing capabilities to Kofax's Intelligent Capture and Exchange tools.
The software captures and encrypts print files or imported data in standard text, image and XML file formats, then collects and delivers the electronic information to Kofax Transformation Modules for classification and data extraction. It uses software technology obtained by the company this year when it acquired OptiInvoice, a Scandanavian company.

CLIENTVISION FOR FINANCIAL ADVISORS
AdviceAmerica released ClientVision, a Web-based client management system aimed at financial advisors who use Outlook as their primary tool for client relations.
ClientVision is tightly integrated with Outlook contacts, emails, calendars and tasks as well as financial planning and portfolio management tools, including AdviceAmerica's AdvisorVision. It contains the ability to collect account data from sources including Albridge, Pershing, TD Ameritrade and DST. A document vault is available where advisors can upload plans, wills, insurance policies or estate documents. They also can record and log history of communications and recommendations.

ACOM SOLUTIONS DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT
ACOM Solutions introduced a document capture tool that automatically processes scanned documents and indexes and stores them in EZContentManager or other document management systems.
EZCapture works with any scanner and performs template forms matching so unrelated documents can be scanned simultaneously. ODBC functionality provides for user-defined indexing fields and links with front-end databases for validation. It converts images to PDFs after updating metadata with indexing data.

CLUSTERSEVEN SPREADSHEET MANAGEMENT
ClusterSeven's flagship Enterprise Spreadsheet Management system now is available as a Software-as-a-Service model.
The ClusterSeven SaaS product offers options to monitor Microsoft Excel spreadsheets held within the company firewall or on third-party Web-based locations like SharePoint or Google spreadsheets. It is hosted on the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), a simple Web service interface.
