Weaver supports Feed the Children with funds, volunteers

The Weaver Private Foundation named Feed the Children its Charity of Choice for fiscal year 2012-13, contributing $45,000 to the organization in conjunction with local partner agencies where the Southwest accounting firm has offices.

E&Y connects with NYC students for day of service

As many as 500 Ernst & Young professionals will be deployed in New York City to deliver financial literacy, entrepreneurship, college and career-readiness education to 3,000 K-12 NYC public school students Friday, May 17, as part of the annual day of community service, EY Connect Day.

Bowman & Company awards memorial scholarship

Southern New Jersey accounting and management consulting firm Bowman & Company recently honored student Rebekah Calverley with its 2013 Lisa A. Donahue scholarship, bestowed in memory of the firm's late partner who lost her battle with cancer five years ago.

KPMG's local Tree Planting partnership bears fruit

KPMG teamed up with the Fruit Tree Planting Foundation and local San Antonio residents May 4 to plant about 100 fruit trees in two housing development orchards operated by the San Antonio Housing Authority.
