Top 50 Blogs for Accountants (And We’re on the List!)

By Liz Gold
December 22, 2009

If you’re looking to catch up on some reading during your holiday break, here’s a list that will keep you busy for a while – the Top 50 Blogs for Accountants.

Yes, the usual suspects are on there – Accounting Web, Rick Telberg’s CPA Trendlines, our friend Kel at Accounting Elf, Michelle Golden’s Golden Practices, Scott Heintzelman’s The Exuberant Accountant, and Rita Keller’s Possibilities for CPA Firm Leaders, to name just a few.

The list, compiled by The Biz-Learner, is broken down in various categories such as accounting bloggers, tax issues, tech talk, investing and financial, CPA tests, recruiting and management and organizations and SOX.

And while we certainly think the list is comprehensive – we’d also add Jennifer Wilson's Inspired Ideas, Stacie’s More Tax Tips, Jason Blumer's Thriveal and a new blog we just heard about via Michelle Golden – Farm CPA Today, written by Paul Neiffer.

Know of a worthy blog that didn't make the list? Leave a comment below or email me at tomorrow@sourcemedia.com.

Thanks a ton for the mentions, Liz! Like you, I feel honored to be included in a list among so many fine blogs! And agree there are others who merit mention too... I try to keep www.accountingbloglist.com current with all the CPAs and CAs who are blogging out there. If you find any new ones please send them my way, too! :)
