Accounting firms hold steady on Best Internships list

By Danielle Lee
January 9, 2014

Employer ranking website has released its list of the Best Overall Internships for 2014, and once again accounting firms had a large presence.

Eight accounting firms made the Top 25 ranks, including three of the Big Four.

Joining PwC (ranked 12th), Deloitte (13) and KPMG (17) are Elliott Davis (4), Plante Moran (7), Eide Bailly (16), Crowe Horwath (21) and Moss Adams (23).

More than 500 organizations participating in the 2013 internship survey, with the internship sponsors providing program descriptions and details and current and former interns rating their experience. Those ratings were based on application process, compensation and perks, quality of life, meaningfulness of assignments and training, and full-time employment prospects.

Organizations that complete both the self-reported program description and intern-provided reviews were eligible, making for a total of 7,700 interns reviewing more than 100 different internship programs, and those with at least 10 reviews in consideration.
