HMWC rocks out for Toys for Tots

By Danielle Lee
January 3, 2014

The partners and employees of Southern California accounting firm HMWC CPAs & Business Advisors recently contributed to an event benefiting the “Toys For Tots” program at the House of Blues at Downtown Disney.

In addition to hosting the event, “House of 80s,” the concert venue sponsored the program, accepting donated toys which HMWC partnership matched, doubling the contribution of 76 toys to 152.

HMWC partner Curtis Campbell’s son Jason performed with his band, Fusion Beat, joining three other bands playing 1980s music.

The promoter coordinated with the Marine Division of Toys for Tots to collect toys, with partner Curtis Campbell delivering the toys on behalf of the firm to the House of Blues event.

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program is to collect and distribute new, unwrapped toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in communities local to each campaign.
