International association Leading Edge Alliance awarded Sandra Wiley, chief operating officer and shareholder of Boomer Consulting, with the 2012 On the Edge of Innovation Award.

The award was designed to recognize an industry-recognized and forward thinking leader who has impacted the profession.

Wiley was chosen because of her prominent role as an industry expert on human resources and training, and influence as a management and planning consultant and founding member of the CPA Consultants’ Alliance. She is also a certified Kolbe trainer who advises firms on building balanced teams, managing conflict and hiring top talent.

“I am honored to receive this award,” Wiley said in a statement. “I am truly thankful for working with such great clients that allow me to push them to the edge.”
