INTUIT REALIGNS ACCOUNTING PROFESSIONALS DIVISION

Mountain View, Calf. -- Intuit is reorganizing its Accounting Professionals Division as part of a larger corporate strategy that includes the divestiture of the Intuit Financial Services Division and a plan to sell the Intuit Health Group.

The new lineup includes two small-business divisions pursuing opportunities around the world; and two organizations focused on consumers - Consumer Tax, overseeing the tax preparation business in the U.S. and Canada; and the newly formed Consumer Ecosystem, focused on solving additional important consumer problems beyond tax.

 

KASHOO ENHANCES IPAD APP

Vancouver, B.C. -- Kashoo has released Version 2.2 of its iPad app, which features over 100 enhancements, including Spanish language localization to complement its existing English and French native iPad language support. The updated product also offers more simplified account views for owners of multiple businesses. In addition, attachments captured through the Kashoo iPad app are now viewable via the Web.

 

INTACCT UPDATES PROJECT ACCOUNTING FUNCTIONS

San Jose, Calif. -- Intacct added new resource scheduling capabilities and other enhancements to Intacct Project Accounting to automate both project accounting and project delivery within the financial system of record. Recent enhancements include new resource scheduling; improvements to the billing engine, including support for cost-plus-fee pricing models and the ability to bill customers, pay vendors, and reimburse employees in different currencies on the same project.

 

CCH UPGRADES PROSYSTEM

Riverwoods, Ill. -- New forecasting tools are now available in the latest version of CCH ProSystem fx Practice Management. The tool allows firms to plan their client work in weekly increments, and for partners and billing managers to see client work planned for the upcoming weeks.
