CTU Earns Accreditation From CFP Board of Standards

Students at the Colorado Springs and online campuses of Colorado Technical University will now be able to sit for the Certified Financial Planner exam.

The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards recently granted the school accreditation for its bachelor of financial planning degree.

The CFPBS works to benefit the public by granting certification to financial planners. More than 56,000 individuals in the U.S. currently hold the certificate.

“Having this accreditation is a huge victory for CTU because we will be offering a first rate program built in concert with the program recommendations of the CFP Board,” said Mike McAndrew, program director of financial planning for CTU Online. “CTU students will benefit from the accreditation, as it will allow them to sit for the CFP exam and earn the credentials needed to set them apart to succeed.”
