RSM McGladrey Raises $42,000 for Special Olympics

RSM McGladrey employees from the Great Plains region raised $42,000 for the Special Olympics and presented the check on the day it was announced that the organization’s founder Eunice Shriver had died.

Employees who donated $1,000 or more had their names placed in a drawing to win the chance to participate in the PGA of America’s “Walk Within the Ropes” program at last week’s PGA Championship.

“Each year our company hosts The McGladrey Team Championship, which brings together amateur golfers and PGA professional from across the nation in a team setting, proving that with the right team, anything’s possible,” said Bill Roche, RSM McGladrey’s office managing partner in Minneapolis. “I am proud our employees raised such a significant amount for Special Olympics and am honored to present the check on a special and solemn day for everyone who is touched by and involved with Special Olympics.”
