From Professional Accountant to Professional Triathlete

Last week it was Jody Padar, this week it’s Rebeccah Wassner – triathlons seem to be popular among the CPA sect.

You can read all about Rebeccah Wassner’s journey of becoming a triathlete in today’s Inside Views column. Wassner, a CPA, was named USA Triathlon’s Athlete of the Year in 2009, after winning the 2009 New York City Triathlon and six other professional races last year.

She started her accounting career at Deloitte & Touche in Washington D.C. and really got serious about her training when her twin sister, Laurel, got sick with cancer.
