Daszkal Bolton Donates to Boca Red Cross

The devastating Haiti earthquake may not be dominating the headlines as it was a month or so ago, but that doesn’t mean they still don’t need help – and with as much rebuilding as the country needs to do, every little bit counts.

Daszkal Bolton in Boca Raton, Fla. is the latest firm to come forward and donate funds to Haiti to support relief efforts. The firm will be donating $2,580 to the Boca Raton Chapter of the American Red Cross.

The money was raised through the firm’s Charity Jeans Day Program – every last Friday of the month employees make a donation to the “featured” charity and may wear jeans. In total, employee contributed $1,290 for the Red Cross through the program and management matched the contributions.

“Daszkal Bolton believes it is essential to give back to the community that has been so good to the firm,” said Susan Kaplan, human resources manager. “What made this charity drive special was the partners’ generosity in matching the employees’ contributions dollar for dollar. This underlies the firm’s commitment to the community, to the charities close to the hearts of the employees, and to disaster relief efforts like those going on in Haiti right now.”
