Two accountants walk into a bar …

It sounds like a joke, but it’s for real – Sage Accountants’ Network is sponsoring Accountants One’s 6th Annual Search for the South’s Funniest Accountant taking place in Atlanta on Thursday night.

Proceeds from the evening’s event go to Junior Achievement of Georgia http://www.georgia.ja.org which partners with businesses and educators to bring the real world to students.

Earlier auditions narrowed the contestant field down to nine contenders. These finalists participated in a “comedy boot camp” on Oct. 2 to hone their routines. The winner – announced at the event on Thursday – will receive an all-expenses paid trip for two to Las Vegas.
