AICPA builds online Young CPA Network

The American Institute of CPAs has created an online community to connect young CPA members.

The Young CPA Network community launched Thursday on aicpa.org as a platform for AICPA members to establish peer connections, share ideas and develop their careers.

AICPA members between the ages of 22 and 36 who have passed the CPA exam can create customized profiles and interact with their peers through an interactive discussion forum, blog section, events calendar and articles about the profession.

“Connecting with their peers is one of the best opportunities young professionals have to grow their careers,” stated Donna Salter, AICPA’s senior manager of young member initiatives. “The AICPA created the Young CPA Network online community to help increase the level of engagement and facilitate idea exchanges and peer mentoring among our younger members directly through the AICPA website.”
