BDO awarded Work-Life Seal of Distinction

Top 100 accounting firm BDO was recognized with the Work-Life Seal of Distinction for 2014 by WorldatWork’s Alliance for Work-Life Progress, which honors organizational success in work-life effectiveness.

As one of 66 organizations to earn the seal this year from the alliance, BDO joins businesses like A.T. Kearney, Johnson & Johnson, MetLife, Northrop Grumman, Prudential Financial and Texas Instruments. The complete list of honorees, with winners to be recognized March 20 at the Work-Life Awards Luncheon at the AWLP Work-Life Forum in Baltimore, is available here.

The AWLP Seal of Distinction assesses seven categories of work-life effectiveness in today’s workplace:

  • Financial support for economic security
  • Paid and unpaid time off 
  • Community involvement
  • Transforming organizational culture
