Baltimore volunteers CASH in on financial knowledge

David Crisp, manager at Maryland accounting firm Weyrich, Cronin & Sorra Chartered, has parlayed his money knowledge into a volunteering job with the Baltimore CASH Campaign, which seeks coaches for working families.

Volunteers to the campaign provide these families with financial tools, services and asset-building resources.

Crisp will work one-on-one with his client over the span of three or four monthly meetings in the summer and fall to teach skills in money management, how to start and maintain a budget, debt management, saving, establishing credit, and credit repair.

Crisp plans to volunteer again, when he will serve a new client, next year.
