Boston firm assists in Habitat for Humanity convent conversion

Boston accounting firm Feeley & Driscoll staff volunteered with the Merrimack Valley Habitat for Humanity to mark its 12th year of partnership with the organization.

Forty-two staff members worked at the former St. Patrick Parrish Convent in Lawrence, Mass., which was erected in the early 20th century, to help in efforts to convert the 16,000 square foot structure into ten condos in the next several years. The houses will follow Energy Star standards to be 15-30 percent more energy efficient than traditionally built homes.

In addition to its work with Habitat for Humanity, Feeley & Driscoll also supports the JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge, the Patriot’s Charitable Foundation, the Jimmy Fund – Dana Farber Cancer Institute, the Women’s Lunch Place and Toys for Tots.
