Clark Nuber's annual Cook-Off dishes donations to charity

Employees of Washington CPA and consulting firm Clark Nuber recently competed in the firm’s fifth annual Crock-Pot Cook-Off Contest to raise money for local charity.

Raised by collecting donations from each employee to purchase tastes of the entries, this year’s proceeds were donated to United Way of King County, with the firm matching employee donations $1 for $1.

Each taster can vote for their top three favorite recipes. The winning dishes included Thai peanut chicken stew, apple blueberry crisp and gluten-free BBQ meatballs, and the top three prize winners were: in first place, Steve Shulze of the accounting department; second place, Bonnie Walter of the tax department; and in third place, Angela Oakley of the HR department.
