Midwest firm administrator named Woman of the Year

Donna Cunningham, the chief administrative officer at Midwest tax and business advisory firm Stone Carlie & Company, was named Woman of the Year for 2011-12 by the National Association of Professional Women.

NAPW is an exclusive network for professional women to develop relationships and the resources for success. Membership is through recommendation and invitation.

“Donna of course does an excellent job at Stone Carlie and it is only fitting for her to be recognized on a national level,” said Stone Carlie Managing Partner Jeff Ward in a statement. “Congratulations Donna – we are proud of you!”

Currently responsible for overseeing all administrative, human resources, marketing, information systems and finance functions at the firm, Cunningham is also an active member of the Association for Accounting Administration. She has participated in several International Group of Accounting Firms and American Institute of CPAs conferences and lectured on topics like performance evaluations, support staff administration and intermediate administration.

In 1990, Cunningham was selected as CPA Services’ Firm Administrator of the Year.
