Several members of The Mironov Group, LLC, CPAs & Consultants, in Edison, N.J., recently participated in the firm’s Project Sandy Claus - Coats for Kids drive.
Sixty-six brand new coats made their way to young Hurricane Sandy victims in the New Jersey and New York area, just in time for the cold weather. Half of the outerwear was delivered to Lunch Break, a soup kitchen and food pantry in Red Bank, N.J. that also provides clothing and social services.
The remainder went to the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation in Staten Island, N.Y., a tax-exempt charity named in memory of a firefighter who lost his life on 9/11, which has been involved in providing relief to New Yorkers affected by the hurricane.
