Armanino gears up for annual Great Give

California accounting and business consulting firm Armanino announced that their community outreach program, the Great Give, will be held Thursday, May 22.

Through the company-wide program, now in its sixth year, employees contribute time and energy to local communities, with 360 volunteering more than 2,000 hours to different nonprofits and charities.

"Armanino is proud of its tradition of partnering with philanthropic organizations through the Great Give program,” stated managing partner Andy Armanino. “I have seen first hand the meaningful difference we make when we work together to improve the lives of others.”

Started as a one-time event, Armanino’s Great Give has donated more than 10,000 hours of community service to more than 100 organizations, with employees nominating charities and then selecting a nonprofit to volunteer with from a final list.

"Every year I'm impressed with the dedication shown by our employees," stated Armanino. "As the firm continues growing, adding both people and locations, I'm inspired by the high level of participation and desire to revitalize our communities."

This year’s Great Give will reach 22 organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Ore., and Chicago, including nine senior and community centers and five public park and recreation areas and conservation groups.
