CBM shares new mentorship program success

Maryland CPA and business advisory firm Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell announced the completion of the first six months of Project Clear Path, the firm’s new mentorship program launched in January.

The program was designed to help provide CBM employees with a clear path to reaching personal and firm-wide goals. Led by CBM’s professional development committee, which is chaired by senior manager Sean Griffin, the program includes personalized training schedules for all personnel and a comprehensive knowledge sharing program on accounting-related topics, software and marketing.

“CBM is committed to the success of our staff,” stated Peter B. Reilly, CBM president and managing partner. “We have a large number of senior staff members with a great deal of knowledge and experience who have been more than willing to share. The firm-wide interaction has created a vibrant atmosphere.”

CBM also recently introduced CBM MyPlace, a personalized webpage for every employee to access information ranging from their vacation and 401(k) balances to the best traffic route home.
