Dixon Hughes Goodman serves North Carolina

The North Carolina offices of Top 100 Charlotte-based CPA firm Dixon Hughes Goodman participated in the North Carolina Association of CPAs’ first statewide CPA Day of Service Sept. 21.

Four regional offices contributed, including: Charlotte, where 47 employees volunteered with the Crisis Assistance Ministry and the Learning Collaborative; Triad, where 61 employees worked with Habitat for Humanity, Junior Achievement and the North Carolina Food Bank; Asheville, which loaned 15 employees on a backpack initiative to serve MANNA Food Bank; and Pinehurst, which donated the time of nine employees to the Central North Carolina Food Bank.

The planned annual event fits with Dixon Hughes Goodman’s GIVES (Go. Invest. Volunteer. Engage. Serve.) philosophy, which encourages all employees to serve their communities.
